Good morning friends..

its a sunny day to day almost like spring. .but cold at night down to - 5 last night. I like carol  am trying to recover from health issues and we both are getting there slowley.

I have been in the house for a month, and I am getting cabin fever. I look forward to recovering and swimming with all my friends. I see my surgeon on May 3rd; hopefully, by then, I will be feeling good enough to get my clearance to drive .

Good morning, friends. The community nurse came yesterday. I don't have an infection. She told me to relax and keep my knee iced for the next week and not to go to physio until late next week, She told me I worked myself too hard with the exercises 

good afternoon gals, i am truly sorry I have not been around  but its been a mess of medical appointments and hospital visits. 

first off I have had the last of the cast taken off, and that limb is sore and week. so going to physio and as I am unable to drive at the moment until my 6 week check up I have to bother friends and family for lifts

but that's not the only medical appointment  I am waiting for minor work on my bladder that will be minor.. but .....its a hard call they are blow tox my bladder to help  it adjust for I am having too many contraction of pain. i thought that was what you had for face lifts.. LOL but was informed they use it  for other medical  issues ..

i have missed you guys, but will try o get here more often.. you are my online family..

I see that carol is still not better ,  as to the heat in you knee  it could be caused by infection but there may be another cause. when mine was done i had a red swollen knee and they said in my cast it was trying to get a head ..you know pushing your self. please take care   but girls we are all of a age that we catch

all kinds of things and i have found it take longer to get going. i am not if i am the oldest in this group for i will be 83 this month.. some days i feel like a young person and most days i feel like a old lady.. but looking over my life it has been very good to me. good friends, and family what else matters.. i live in my own home ,mush to my kids surprise. i have a nurse coming twice a week. my children has ordered meals on wheels three days a week.. but old age is not what its cracked up to be...i have to admit i have grand children e-mail once or twice a week my son talks on the phone daily and comes out three times and then Darcy my driver and my house cleaner just the hard stuff like washing floors and things like that  she is my right hand..

love you ladies so don't think i am dead yet.. LOL

carol get well soon ,with your knee have been there so keep you chin up you will be racing around          in summer. 

melba   hope you are doing ok more so with the politic mess that going around in the states right           now

  Good Morning, Yes Carol I had a full  knee replacement.I  am 83 had it done when i was 79yrs.I would do it again if other knee needed it. It will be good once its healed. hang in there. Hugs and prayers.
